William Louis Bianchi

June 21, 1929 ~ September 2, 2017 (age 88) 88 Years Old

William Louis Bianchi, 88, of Trafford, died on Saturday, September 2, 2017. He was the beloved husband of 63 years to Angeline (Padezan) Bianchi; a loving father to Chip (Karen) Bianchi of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Cheryl (the late Guy) Russo of Manor, and Denise (Chris) Casino of Manor.  He was also the proud grandfather of Kelly Casino, Nick Casino, Frank Russo, Nina Russo, and Mario Bianchi.   Brother of the late Betty (Ray) Chandler, John (Margie) Bianchi, Lillian (Phil) Fiumara.  Survived by sister Johanna (the late Vince) Egidi, and brother Jerry (Rusty) Bianchi, both of Denver, Colorado.  Also, many special cousins, nieces and nephews.  Bill was born on June 21st, 1929, in Trafford, Pa. He graduated from Pitcairn High School, served in the Air National Guard, and worked for the PA Railroad (Pitcairn yard) where he received his apprenticeship.  He was then employed as a tool & die machinist for General Motors (Fisher Body) for 36 years.  He then worked/played doing what he loved most, golfing, at Manor Valley Golf Course until a few months ago. He had an amazing knack for problem solving and fixing things.  He was an automaker, restorer of corvettes, camaros & mustangs, builder and remodeler, a true master of all trades.  Bill was a constant seeker of knowledge, an avid reader, golfer, and bowler who loved ice cream, pasta, and traveling. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered always as the man who wanted nothing, yet gave everything. With respect to Bill’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. In honor of his devotion to knowledge, his remains will be given for medical research. Donations in memory of Bill can be made to Trafford Public Library and/or the American Brain Foundation.
