Shirley Mae (Hatfield) Greenawalt

Shirley Mae (Hatfield) Greenawalt age 90 of North Irwin passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in her home.  Shirley was born on April 7, 1931 in Pitcairn the daughter of the late John William and Hazel (Lamberson) Hatfield.  Shirley was a member of the Christian Life Church in Trafford and its Women’s Fellowship Group.  In addition to her parents Shirley was preceded in death by her husband James A. Greenawalt; four brothers and one sister.  She is survived by her children Debra S. George (Jim), James A. Greenawalt III, Becky Capets (Jim) and Jeffrey Greenawalt (Karen); her grandchildren Kristin Haskins (Greg), Corey George, Steven and Joshua Greenawalt (Lindsay), Janell Young (Tim Bosco), Drew Capets (Jamie), Lindsay Zummo (Tony), Jeremiah Greenawalt (Jessica) and Lauren Newman (Caleb); and 18 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 6-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111 with additional viewing Saturday from 10AM until the time of the service at 11 AM in the New Life Fellowship Church of Pittsburgh, 541 Chicora St., E. McKeesport 15035 with her son-in-law Pastor Jim Capets officiating.  Interment will follow in the Restland-Lincoln Memorial Park, Monroeville.  Everyone please go directly to the church Saturday morning.   www.dobrinickfhinc.com
