Robert “Bob” Morrissey, age 84, of Level Green, PA passed away peacefully at home on December 18, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 21,1940 in Pittsburgh to the late Earl and Rosetta (Clark) Morrissey.   Robert graduated from Central Catholic High School and Duquesne University. He proudly served as a captain in the United States Air Force then went on to have a career in human resources. He was a member of St. Regis Catholic Church in Trafford.  Robert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn (Duda); son Kevin (Sandra) Morrissey; daughters Krista (Steven) Boss and Suzanne Morrissey, MD (Daniel Petro, MD); Pap to Joshua and Alyssa Boss, Ryla and Carah Morrissey; brother Tim (Sue) Morrissey; brother-in-law Francis (Tiffany) Duda; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Robert enjoyed Lionel trains, electronics, and was a loyal fan to all Pittsburgh sports teams. Family will miss his kindness and generosity, in addition to stories about his childhood in Bloomfield and his Amazon purchases.  Family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Robert’s aides from Amada Senior Care (Kim, Jenny, Judene) who provided dedicated, compassionate care following a debilitating stroke.  Special thanks also to Bridges Hospice for the kindness and dignity given to Robert.  If one would like to honor Robert’s memory, donations can be made to St. Regis Catholic Church at 517 Homewood Ave, Trafford, PA 15085 or Tunnel to Towers Foundation at t2t.org.  ‘They that hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they will soar on eagles’ wings; they will run and not grow weary, walk and not grow faint.” Isaiah 40:31.   Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-6 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111.  Parting prayers will be at 9 AM on Monday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in the St. Regis Church Trafford with Fr. Daniel Carr as celebrant.  Interment with military honors will follow in the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville.
