Pauline Goodwin Hilliard, age 86, of Hagerstown, MD, formerly of Penn Hills passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022.  Pauline was born on March 25, 1936 in Nanticoke, PA the daughter of the late William and Annie (Goodwin) Hunter.  Pauline retired as a short order cook at the East Oakmont Golf Course and she loved crocheting and knitting.  She loved bingo, bowling and playing cards with her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Charles; daughter Gloria Jean Hilliard; her siblings William (Hattie), John (Grace), Thomas (Nancy) and Lawrence Hunter (Chris-Living).  Pauline is survived by her children Beverly Ann Gledhill of Hagerstown MD (formerly of Penn Hills), Pamela Sue McGrath of Oakmont, Anna Catherine Giancola (Ernest S. Jr.) of Hagerstown MD; her grandchildren Candace Skender (Brennan) of Cushing, OK, Samantha Lombardo (Frank) of Apollo, Valerie Shields of Monroeville, Andrea “Dee” Lake (Jason) of Martinsburg WV, Luke Giancola of Smitsburg, MD, Abby Giancola of Hagerstown, MD; great-grandchildren Lilah Mueller, Ava Lake, Adah and Elijah Skender and Cecily Lombardo and her brother Robert Hunter (Mary Jane) of Penn Hills; and many nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received on Sunday (August 28, 2022) from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the John M.
