Patrick L. O'Toole

Patrick L. O’Toole, age 82, of Level Green passed away on Wednesday November 1, 2023 in his home.   Patrick was born on October 3, 1941 in Pittsburgh the son of the late James V. Crowe and Dorothy (Walsh) Crowe.   Patrick was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He attained the rank of Captain and was helicopter pilot flying numerous missions in Vietnam.  He was awarded the Purple Heart and other medals of valor for his service.  Patrick owned and operated the former Murrysville Tile and Carpet Company and was a member of the St. Regis Church in Trafford.  He loved to travel with his wife Beverly, he loved his pets, especially his beagle dogs and he loved to golf.  He made his first hole in one at Butler’s Golf Course in 2017.  In addition to his parents Patrick was preceded in death by his daughter Leigh Ann Stright.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years Beverly Ann (McMahon) O’Toole; his daughter Kathleen (Edward) Sieczkowski; his grandchildren Tyler Stright and Elizabeth (Travis) Carson; his son-in-law Scott Stright (Leigh Ann’s husband); his brother James (Linda) Crowe and his nieces and nephews Laurie (John) Pullano, Todd (Maria) McMahon, Gail (Curt) Eshelman and James Crowe III.  Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-6 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th Street (State Rt. 130), Trafford 412-372-3111.  Parting prayers will be at 10 AM on Monday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in the St. Regis Church, Trafford with Fr. Anthony Ditto as celebrant.  Military honors will follow his funeral Mass at the church.  A private entombment for the family will be in the Twin Valley Memorial Park at a later date.
