Nicholas Ira Sarafis, age 54, of Level Green, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Nicholas was born on November 20, 1971 in Pittsburgh the son of the late Kyriakos and G. Lavon (DeOrio) Sarafis.  Nicholas was an amazing Husband, Father, Step-father, Brother and the best Pap Pap.  He was a world champion softball player, pool shark, amazing at both football and fantasy football, and wasn’t bad at bowling either. He was lighthearted, full of smiles, and an absolute cancer warrior.  He was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church in North Huntingdon.  Nicholas is survived by his loving wife of 9 years Megan (Doerfler) Sarafis; his daughter Alexis Ternoway (fiancé Nathan Cole) and son Sean Goodman; his grandson Atlas Ira Cole; his siblings Kyriakos (Kit) Sarafis (Nicolle), Nathan Sarafis (Holly), Kirk Sarafis (Brittany), Niel Sarafis and Krystal Sarafis, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 10, 2026 from 2-6 PM and on Monday, May 11, 2026 from 10 AM until 12 Noon in the John M.
