Michael F. A. Sorokach

Michael F. A. Sorokach, age 77, of Trafford passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 in UPMC East, Monroeville.  Mike was born on April 3, 1946 in North Braddock, the son of Anna Sorokach.  Mike was retired from Westinghouse/Bechtel Machinery Inc. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the St. John Kanty Lodge in Trafford (Polish Club), he loved Steeler and Pitt Football, he coached Yankees Little League Baseball Team in Trafford and he was a very kind and generous person.  In addition to his mother Mike was preceded in death by his wife Carol Ann “Bunnie” Sorokach.  He is survived by his son Michael C. Sorokach of Trafford; several cousins and other family members.  Family and friends will be received on Friday from 4-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111.  A private burial will take place in the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville.
