Martin Blair Moyer Sr.

Martin Blair Moyer Sr., age 68, of Larimer (N. Huntingdon Twp.) passed away on Tuesday June 21, 2022 in his home.  Martin was born on November 4, 1953 in Altoona the son of the late Donald Moyer Sr. and Ruth Moyer/Medasie.  Martin was retired from Westinghouse as a machinist, an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, butchering, painting, and a man that would go out of his way to help others.   In addition to his parents Martin was preceded in death by his step-father Alvin McDasie Sr.; his siblings Donald Moyer Jr. and Ricky Moyer.  He is survived by his wife of 14 years Dorothy (Cummins) Moyer; his children Martin Blair Moyer Jr. (Tina), Ernest Lee Moyer (Margarita), Greg Taylor (Erin), Susan Lukart (Sean), Cathy Taylor and Sarah Bristow; his grandchildren Cheyenne, Sierra, Shane, Lolita, Lucia and Levi Moyer, Bailey Taylor, Aidan, Chase and Brooklyn Lukart, Carson Taylor, Billy Kornrumph, Mila Hubler, Jimmy Jackson and Dominic Thorton; and his siblings Doreen Stell (Rex) and Alvin McDasie Jr.; multiple aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received on Saturday June 25th from 3-7 PM in the John M.
