The morning of March 9, 2025, Margaret “Mary” (Harrover) Zigarovich, age 90, of Trafford, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her five children, John (Lynn) Zigarovich, David (Susan) Zigarovich, Theresa Zigarovich, Mary Beth (David) Bertoni, Jennifer Zigarovich. In addition to her children, she is survived by her eight grandchildren:  Emma, Anna, Eva, Zackery, David, Carlo, Domenic and Isabelle. She is also survived by her brothers, Alexander Harrover and Douglas Harrover.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 38 years John M. Zigarovich, Mayor of Trafford.  Mary was the true First Lady of Trafford by caring for those in need.  Also preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ellen Harrover, brother Robert Harrover and sister Jane Ann Dillion.

Mary was a selfless and kind soul.  She was a loving, patient mother and grandmother who enjoyed caring for and spending time with her family.  She was a talented homemaker.  She loved sewing, baking and decorating cakes.  Mary was a devout Catholic and exemplified it in everything she did and everyone she touched.   She was a member of the St. Regis choir for many years and an active parish volunteer.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday March 13, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130), Trafford, (412) 372-3111.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church, 308 2nd Street, Irwin at 10 AM on Friday, March 14, 2025.
