Luigina “Louise” C. Bach went to her heavenly home on December 5, 2024 at 96 years young. She died at home with family by her side.  Born on March 8,1928 outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Louise was one of nine children born to Italian immigrants Lodovico (Louis) Mento and Pippina (Maura) Mento.  She lived her long life to the fullest and was known for her energy, fashion sense, and her love for God and family. She had an amazing work ethic and could always find a place to help with her domestic and/or organizational skills.  Growing up in western Pennsylvania, Louise’s employment took her many places from the Pennsylvania Railroad where she started as a teenager to retiring at Carnegie Mellon University over 60 years later. At 96, she has also lived a rich life in retirement, volunteering, traveling, and being “Nana” to many. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her siblings Anna Mento Matt, Jennie C. Valauri, Russell Mento, Yolanda Cherullo, Sophie Natale, Lena Anastasia, and Elizabeth Ann Gessinger. Louise is survived by her youngest sister Josephine Mento DiRinaldo (JoJo) from Pittsburgh, PA. Nana Louise is also survived by son Larry (Jerilyn Sorbo) Bach, grandsons Christopher and Alan (Janette Fulks) Bach and great grandchildren Louis Hale and Ivy Joy Bach. In addition, Louise lovingly remembered friends from both PA and MN along with her many nieces, nephews, spouses, and their children in her final days. A Celebration of Life will be held on December 16, 2024 @ 11:00 AM at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 13600 Technology Dr. Eden Prairie, MN 55344 with a reception to follow  The service will be live-streamed and you can connect to the celebration at https://www.youtube.com/live/GRuK0XjsIvc?si=V3s_JS9_FuZpwtE1. In lieu of flowers, direct donations can be made to the North Central University Fine Arts endowment or to your favorite charity.  The John M.
