Linda H. (Heisel) Golnoski

Linda H. Golnoski, age 80, of Penn Twp, passed away after a series of strokes on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.  Linda was born on August 23, 1943 in Pittsburgh the daughter of the late John “Wallace” and Emma (Gaub) Heisel.  Linda was a proud member of the Jeannette Jayhawk majorettes, High School Class of 1961.  Linda attended the Katharine Gibbs College in New York City, where she studied business administration.  Upon graduation, she followed in her father’s footsteps and joined the banking industry at Jeannette Bank.  Upon having her first son, Linda left the workforce and dedicated the remainder of her life to raising her family as a homemaker.  In time, Linda opened an in-home day care service where she provided local families with care for their infant to primary school children.  Linda was a member of St. Regis Parish in Trafford, and was an avid Jeannette Jayhawk and Notre Dame football fan.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Harry.  Linda is survived by her children Jay Golnoski (Christina) of Ellicott City, MD, Jonathan Golnoski of Plum and Justin Golnoski of Penn Twp; her grandchildren Emma, Nicholas, Ryan, and Andrew; her brother-in-law Clifford Miller and her three nieces Sandy Hayden, Cori Pitzer, and Jeri Phillips.  Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 4-7 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc. 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in the Sacred Heart Church in Jeannette with Fr.
