Keith A. Heinritz, age 70, of Level Green, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Monday, June 1, 2026. Keith was born on August 9, 1955, in Wilkinsburg, the son of the late Richard and Peggy (Ucman) Heinritz.  Keith was the owner, operator, and chef, alongside his wife, Paulette, of Keith Heinritz Katering in Trafford for 35 years. Their fish sandwiches were famous throughout the Pittsburgh area. Keith was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, an avid golfer, and a member of the Trafford Golf League and Irwin Country Club. He was truly one of a kind and a die-hard Steelers fan. Steeler Sundays will never be the same. Keith loved fishing, hunting, music, and his dogs. He also served as the former Vice President and head baseball coach for numerous teams in the Trafford Baseball League.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Spade. Keith is survived by his loving wife, Paulette (Caruso) Heinritz; his children, Carl Caruso and KJ Heinritz (Katie); his grandchildren, Zachary and Gabriella Iezzi, Natalia and Nicolina Caruso, and Harper and Rowan Heinritz; his siblings, Dale Heinritz, Kirk Heinritz (Betty Lou), Pam Kearns, and Bart Heinritz (Heather); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130), Trafford, 412-372-3111. An additional viewing will be held Friday from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Joseph O'Brien officiating. Interment will be private.
