We are sad to announce that Karla Diemert-Carter, 45, of Irwin, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. She was the daughter of Karl and Linda (Soltis) Diemert. She was proceeded in death by her sister Christine Diemert-Ryan. Karla was a Norwin high school graduate, a huge Pittsburgh Penguins fan, and loved animals. Karla worked as a Resolution Specialist at CVS Caremark Specialty Pharmacy. In addition to her parents, Karla is survived by her husband, Philip Carter; her son William “Billy” Vantine (Rachel); her sister Suzanne Weaver (Brian); her nieces Ashley, Juli, Kaitlyn, and Rachel; her beloved beagles Scout, Reese, Hank, and Huck; and her cats Vern, Sydney, and Smeel.
