Obituary

John.Stanisic, 88, of Trafford, died Tuesday, June 14, 2022. He was born in Trafford, son of the late John Sr. and Mary (Pavkovic) Stanisic. Prior to retirement, he was employed at the Port Authority for decades.  He was a longtime member of the Croatian Fraternal Union, served with the US Army from 1955-1957 and was a member of the Trafford American Legion Post #331.  He is survived by brother, Joe Stanisic of Walnut Creek, California; a sister, Mary Renda of Monroeville; two nieces, Toni (Mike) of Plum and Kimberly of Wilmerding; a great-nephew, Brandon (Sarina), and a great-niece, Brittany (Zachary) and two great grandnephews, Porter and Weston.  Private family visitation Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 2 to 4 PM at John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home, Inc.702 7th Street (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111.   Private funeral service will be held Monday with Interment in All Saints/Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Braddock Hills.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Sheep Inc.
