Joan (Cameron) Vowler, 77, of Trafford, passed away November 5, 2024. Joan was born on December 28, 1946 in Scranton, PA, the daughter of the late William and Lois (Pierson) Cameron. She was married for 61 years to her husband William “Bill” Vowler. They traveled extensively together around the world to over 45 countries for vacation as well as for business. Joan was a dedicated member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. She participated in many groups, clubs and organizations such as the TUMC women’s organization, Friendship, garden club, and was a leader for Brownies and Girl Scouts. She was an astrology enthusiast who enjoyed and excelled in sewing, making crafts and flower arranging. In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by her children Pamela Lee Derby and her husband Roger of Hardeeville, SC, William John Vowler Jr. and his wife Dawne of Canton, MI and James Cameron Vowler and his wife Robin of Monroeville; her grandchildren Roger Derby III and his wife Rhaissa, Faith Vowler, Heather Derby, Rose (Vowler) Greene and her husband Brandon, Blake Vowler and Baron Vowler; her only great grandchild Parker Capri Derby; as well as her siblings Carol Palomera of Monroeville and William Cameron of Clark Summit.
