Jo Ann (Simmons) Booher

Jo Ann (Simmons) Booher age 74 of Trafford passed away on Friday June 11, 2021 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Jo was born on June 7, 1947 in Wilkinsburg the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Maurer) Simmons.  Jo retired from the Forbes Regional Hospital, she was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Trafford and was a member of the former Trafford Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law Kay and Jim Policar.  Jo is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Louis Booher; her son Michael Booher (Lynn Johnson) of Greensburg; her grandchildren Timothy Howard, Michael and Carmella Booher; her siblings Joyce Everard (Jim) of North Hills and Rebecca Leeman (Lynwood) of Trafford and numerous nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2-8 PM in the John M.
