Jacquelyn  A. Rice, age 93, of N. Huntingdon, formerly of Trafford passed away on Wednesday October 30, 2024 at the home of her daughter Linda Cole in North Huntingdon. She was born on December 16, 1930 in Larimer the daughter of the late John A. and Virginia Ann (Kowalczak) Rice. Jackie was a member of the St. Regis Church, Trafford where she was a member of the Hand Bell Choir, the Garden Committee, and part of the Sleeping Bag committee where they made blankets for the homeless. Jackie was also a member of the Trafford Beautification Club who worked on the landscapes around the community.  She was preceded in death by husband James L. Zarobsky, sisters Eleanor Vugrincic, Irene Ciccarelli and brothers Raymond Rice and Donald Rice.  Jackie is survived by her four children Linda Cole (John), Mark Zarobsky, Richard Zarobsky (Helen) and Jacquelyn Reed, one brother Edward Rice of Pittsburgh, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.  Mom, Grandmother, GG, Sister, Aunt, Friend, you will be remembered for your helping hands, loving heart and being there when you were needed. Those of us that remain in this life will carry that special something from our time spent with you.  Your quick wit, love for music, reading books, writing poetry, cooking, gardening, and your spirit of giving and Faith will forever echo in our hearts.  In accordance with Jackie's wishes there is no public visitation.
