Jacqueline "Jackie" Ann Sanders, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 28th, 2021 at the age of 90. She was married to the love of her life, Thomas K Sanders Sr. for 50 years. Born July 24th, 1931 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Gladys M (Skelley) Stroster. She previously lived in Greensburg, Kansas City, Philadelphia and Altoona but loved her final home in Trafford. Jackie retired from Westmorland Hospital in Greensburg after many years as a Phlebotomist and EKG Technician. She was a dedicated member of the Catholic Church and was a Eucharistic Minister to the homebound at St. Regis. She was an active community member and delivered Meals-on Wheels for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, painting, needle work, and was a great cook. She loved traveling the US to visit her children and grandchildren. In her younger years she was an accomplished bowler and enjoyed golf and cross-country skiing. Jackie Loved God, Family and Country. She had many friends and a large family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas K. Sanders Sr., siblings Vivian Brown, Gladys Powell and Walter Stoner. Jackie is survived by her seven children; TK Sanders (Larinda), Heidi Meade (Alan), Jackie Keating (Tom), Laura Wilkinson (Tim), Matt Sanders (Sandy), Mitzi Casper (Tony) Gretchen Richards (Marvin) 14 Grandchildren; Alisha, Allison, Sara, Ame, Jared, Rita, Melanie, Hillary, Natalie, Michael, David, Kelsey, Garrett and Maranda. Eight great grandchildren; Lydia, Rosalie, Jamie, Tyler, Liam, Autumn, Kendal and Kash. Family and friends will be received on Thursday November 4th, from 3-7 PM in John M Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc. 702 7th St. (State Rt 130) Trafford 412-372-3111. Parting prayers will be at 9:30 AM in the funeral home on Friday November 5th, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 Am in St Regis Church with Father Thomas Dansak as celebrant. Jackie will have a private interment beside her father at All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Braddock Hills. As a mother of seven children and an excellent cook, Jackie always made Thanksgiving a very special time for her family, therefore, in lieu of flowers, please donate to your local food bank so others may also have a happy and bountiful Thanksgiving.
