Isabelle G. Ferraro

Isabelle Goodman Ferraro, age 93, formerly of Trafford passed away on Sunday January 14, 2024 at her daughter’s home in North Carolina surrounded by her family.  Isabelle was born on January 1, 1931 in Latrobe the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Jones Goodman.  Isabelle was a member of the former St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Trafford prior to moving to North Carolina.  She also was involved with the Trafford Women’s Club, the Lioness Club and other social organizations.  She was proud as a young girl to win Shirley Temple Contests.  She also was a caring and loving mother, grandmother and Gigi attending many of their activities. Isabelle was preceded in death by her husband James E. Ferraro; her infant grandson Christopher Reeger and her sister Mary Stein.  She is survived by her daughters Linda Snyder (Steve) and Debra Reeger (Ronnie); a step-son James Ferraro (Nancy); her grandchildren Jennifer Stremple (Steve) Stephen Snyder (Amanda), Ashely Williams (Blake) and Melissa Robinson (Jon) and her great-grandchildren Caiden, Kyler, Madison, Mila, Jackson, Luke, James and Ava; her sisters Ella Mae Goodman and Carol Ciafre.  Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-6 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111.  Funeral services will be at 12:30 PM in the funeral home on Monday with Pastor Joseph O’Brien officiating.  Interment will follow in the Crossroads Cemetery (Old Stone Church) Monroeville.  The family requests memorial donations to either the Trafford Library PO Box 173 Trafford PA 15085 or to Transitions Life Care, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, North Carolina 27607.    www.dobrinickfhinc.com
