Howard J. “Bo” Hauff age 85 formerly of Edgewood/Regent Square, grew up in Penn Hills, passed away on Friday, Nov. 27, 2020. Bo was born on January 23, 1935 in Pittsburgh the son of the late Howard and Veronica (Callahan) Hauff. He was the husband of 50 years to the late Arlene (Riedel) Hauff and brother of the late Bill Hauff. Bo is survived by his daughter Lorri Muhitch (Joe); grandchildren Cassidy and Trey Muhitch; and his sisters Barbara Kazer and Debra Marcellino (Chuck). Bo was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. Before getting drafted into the Army during the Korean War Bo was drafted by the Boston Red Sox as a catcher, but he had to serve in the Army during the Korean War. Bo played both football and baseball in high school and the Army. He was passionate about football, baseball, horse racing, the casino and golf where he was an avid golfer with the DGA Golf League for many years. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 4-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc. 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111. Parting prayers at 9:30 AM Tues. in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 10 AM St. Regis Church, Trafford. Interment with military honors in the Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
