Helen A. (Petrina) Grills

Helen A. (Petrina) Grills age 95 of Trafford passed away on Thursday December 2, 2021 in her home. Helen was born on July 4, 1926 in Pittsburgh the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Umalac) Petrina.  Helen was a member of the St. Regis Church, Trafford.  She was a former volunteer for the Forbes Regional Hospital and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents Helen was preceded in death by her husband William J. Grills; her son Timothy Grills and her siblings Joseph Petrina and Catherine P. Thomas. Helen is survived by her children William Grills, Janet Houck (Art), Karen Grills Pineda (Frederick), Donna Rockage (David) and Thomas Grills (Amy); her daughter-in-law Kathy Grills; 12 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren; and her sister Betty J. Howard. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-6 PM on Sunday in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111.  A blessing service will be on Monday at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home with Fr. George Saletrik officiating.
