H. Lee Hufton

H. Lee Hufton, age 84, of Level Green passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022 in Redstone Highlands of North Huntingdon.  Lee was born on November 27, 1937 in McKeesport the son of the late Raymond V. and Thelma (Ward) Hufton.  Lee was a veteran and served with the US Air Force.  He was a graduate of Penn Joint High School and Waynesburg University.  He worked and retired from the PA Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) with 37 ½ years of service.   He was a member of the Trafford Sportsman’s Club and Hilltop Sportsman’s Club of Greensburg.  Lee was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.  He was a devoted grandfather and loved attending their activities and sporting events.  He loved to participate in fantasy sports leagues with his children.  Lee is survived by his children Jeffrey R. Hufton (Lyn) of Allentown PA, Daniel J. Hufton (Janet) of Level Green and Amy Little (Denny) of Penn Twp.  Lee is also survived by his eight grandchildren Travis, Katlyn and Ryan Hufton, Julia Zatorsky (Adam), Maggie Kemmler (Paul), Megan, Brendan and Emma Little; two great-grandchildren Axl and Lila; and his special dog Sam.  In addition to his parents Lee was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Hufton (Kathy Hufton surviving).  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc.
