Fannie (Donchinen) Obsincs

Fannie Obsincs, age 88 of Level Green, passed away peacefully at Golden Heights Personal Care Home on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Fannie was born on May 27, 1934 in Duquesne the daughter of the late John and Fannie (Federanko) Donchinen. She was a homemaker, Brownie leader, member of the Level Green Women’s Club for many years and made sleeping bags for the homeless with the women of St. Regis Parish where she was also a member. She was a loving Navy wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Fannie was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 65 years Bernard J. Obsincs. Fannie is survived by her daughters Deborah Hice (Jeff) and Michelle Kolesar (Dale); her four grandchildren Anabelle and Madeline Hice and Cameron and Ryan Kolesar; as well as nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-6 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc. 702 7th Street (State Rt. 130) Trafford (412) 372-3111.  Parting prayers will be at 10 AM Monday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in the St. Regis Church with Fr. George Saletrik as celebrant.  Entombment will follow in the New St. Joseph Mausoleum, N. Versailles.
