Elizabeth Anne "Betsey" Bopp

Elizabeth Anne “Betsey”  Bopp, 73, of Level Green, passed away on Saturday December 6, 2025 in her home. Born on March 7, 1952, Betsey was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor Bopp. She was also preceded in death by her much loved Aunt “Dot” Dorothy. Betsey graduated from Trafford High School and Chatham College where she obtained a degree in elementary education.  Betsey worked for many years at Lifecare Hospitals of Pittsburgh and then for Forbes Hospital as a medical coder. She was a lifetime member of Level Green Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir, served as Sunday school teacher and elder. Betsey loved the Lord with all her heart, her church congregation, her adopted Koerber family, Dunkin’ Donut coffee runs, going out to eat and every child and animal she ever met.  Betsey who once held the role of babysitter for the four small Koerber children across the street would later be folded into their family as the loving daughter, sister and the position she probably held most dear, that of “Aunt Betsey”. There was not a child that Betsey did not love. This was reflected by the many years she served as a Sunday school teacher, preschool teacher and as the thoughtful caring neighbor who celebrated all the little events of the children in her community.  Betsey also had a huge heart for all God’s creatures having adopted, loved and cared for many animals over her lifetime. Both her church and adopted family would welcome all those wishing to pay their respects to a memorial service to be held at Level Green Presbyterian Church on Saturday, December 13 at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Level Green Presbyterian Church, 105 Olive Dr, Trafford, PA 15085 or the Humane Society of Westmoreland County, 139 Humane Society Rd, Greensburg, PA 15601.
