Eileen S. (Cloherty) Vanisko, age 91, of Harrison City, formerly of Trafford passed away on St. Patrick’s Day, Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in the Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. Eileen was born on December 1, 1929 in Swissvale the daughter of the late John and Ann (Early) Cloherty. Eileen was a graduate of Swissvale High School and a member of the St. Barbara Church in Harrison City. She worked for Westinghouse Electric and retired from Matthews International. She was preceded in death by her son Donald P. Vanisko and her siblings Jack Cloherty, Anita Johnson and Mary Jean Kingston. Eileen is survived by her husband of 64 years Donald Vanisko; her children Kathleen Pitacciato (Michael) and Maureen Schmidt; her grandchildren Joshua and AJ Pitacciato; and her brother Bob Cloherty (Jeanie); and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-6 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (St. Route 130), Trafford (412) 372-3111. Parting prayers will be at 10:15 AM Monday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 11AM in the St. Barbara Church Harrison City with Fr. Michael Sikon as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville.
