Donna J. Piper, age 95, of Level Green, passed away Friday October 17, 2025, in her home. She was born in Louisville, KY on February 10, 1930 to the late William and Stella (Skaggs) Powell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Franklin E. Piper and her siblings Ella Marie O’Reilly, Gerry Powell and Billy Powell. Donna was a precious mother, loved and treasured. She was a dedicated member of the Trinity United Methodist Church for 69 years. As a member she was the superintendent of their Sunday school program, the head of the church prayer chain, a member of the craft group and a part of Women's Wednesday Night Bible Study. Donna loved God, knew Jesus as her Savior, loved reading her Bible and loved her church family. Her favorite place was on the deck of the beach house at sunrise over the ocean on the Outer Banks. She loved looking at the stars in the night sky. She was a fabulous cook and seamstress. She enjoyed board games, jigsaw puzzles and all the episodes of the “Golden Girls”. She loved doing everything with her girls. Her heart and home were always open to others. Donna is survived by her three daughters Beverly, Carol and Linda. At Donna’s request there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Trafford. The John M.
