Dolores J. Cook, of Level Green peacefully passed away on Thursday September 19, 2024 at 87 years young. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Katherine (Fouse) Lynn; her loving husband and sweetheart of 65 years Max S. Cook; her siblings Don, Dean and Ken Lynn, Irene Hartman and Ruth Ahoy. She was blessed with two wonderful and devoted children Brian Cook of Hayward, CA and Renee Booher-Guillet (Denis) of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren Daryl Cook, Sean Cook, Matt Booher (Samantha), and Melinda Booher Hays (Robert); great-grandchildren Kaden, Alayna, Alyssa, Tyler, Abigail, Nathaniel, Caleb, Joshua, and Samuel. The family would like to extend a grateful heartfelt thanks to Ray McCoy, a huge part of her life and ours. He became a friend to Max and Dolores years ago and turned that friendship into blessing. After Max’s passing, Ray became Dolores’ caregiver and was the Perfect Angel God sent to her and to the family. We are so eternally grateful to Ray for his undying commitment, support, and friendship to Dolores until her final day. Dolores was a member of the Level Green Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star, Corinth Chapter 229 in Pitcairn. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 5-7 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th Street (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Geoff Rach officiating. Entombment will follow in the Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, N. Huntingdon.
