Diania Marie Salany, age 66, of Swissvale, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 in her home.   Diania was born on February 9, 1959 in Swissvale the daughter of the late James and Helen (Barbarino) Baverso.  Diania loved and enjoyed all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a special love for the beach and the sunrises that it brought. She loved butterflies, rock and metal music and especially the group Soundgarden or anything Chris Cornell related. She was the kind of person who loved everyone as they were, without judgment, and stood by the people she cared about. In addition to her parents Diania was preceded in death by her son Dante Baverso.  She is survived by her children Steven Baverso, Damian Baverso, Thomas Salany (Kristen), Brandan Salany (Lindsay), Dana Haddix (Robert) and Nicolet Salany (Matt Kobulinsky); her grandchildren Steven Jr., Nicolet, Daveiona, Riley, Damian, Devin, Morgan, Gia, Amelia, Ryan, Eli, Matthew, Rowan, Deluca and Caleb; her great-grandchildren Arnell and Mila; and her siblings Donna Baverso, Joseph (Lisa) Baverso and Dana (Larry) Chappell and many nieces and nephews and other family members.   Diania had a quote that she loved “I'd trade all my tomorrows for one single yesterday.” There will be no visitation and all services are private.  The John M.
