Obituary

David B. Eckels age72 of Trafford passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 13, 2021.  David was born on February 25, 1949 the son of the late David D. and Dorothy Eckels.  He was also preceded in death by his brother Kevin.  Despite his physical limitations and being legally blind, David enjoyed bowling in several leagues at the former Mosside Lanes, golfing at Manor Valley golf course, playing pool and music which was the love of his life.  He enjoyed deejaying and "spinning the oldies".  David is survived by his brother Barry (Pat), his sister Beth (Kevin), sister-in-law Sue, nephews Adrian and Wesley and numerous cousins who shared in his life.  There will be no public visitation.   A graveside service will be held in Union Cemetery, 431 Bridge St., Irwin, PA 15642 on Monday October 18, 2021 at 1PM.  David's family wishes to thank the staff at Transitions N. Huntingdon and Heritage Hospice for their compassionate care.  The John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc.
