Daniel J. Gerkin age 75 of Trafford passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 in his home surrounded by his family. Dan was born in Pittsburgh the son of the late James and Mary (McWilliams) Gerkin. Dan retired from US Steel as a project analyst. He is survived by his loving wife Robin (Roberta) Gerkin; his children Sherry Stokes (Terry), Judy Grady, Heather Centurion (Juan) and Jason DeCaro (Nicol); his grandchildren Ashley, Amanda, Chris, Justin, Jocelyn, CJ, Tyler and Alanah; great-grandchildren Anna, Damian, Jaxson and Dexter; and his siblings JoAnne, Bob, Janice, Keith, Greg, Jon, Debbie and Vicky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Sonny, James, Patricia, Mary Lynn and Lynda. Family and friends will be received on Friday for a memorial service at 10 AM in the Penn- Zion Lutheran Church, 3417 State Rt. 130 Harrison City with Pastor Roger Steiner officiating. The John M. A private entombment for the family only will be in the Twin Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, Delmont.
