Christopher David McDade

Christopher David McDade, age 56, of Trafford passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at UPMC East, Monroeville. Chris was born on July 14, 1967 in New Kensington, the son of Lillian “Billie” (Sames) McDade and the late David McDade. In addition to his mother, Chris is survived by his wife of 31 years Karen McDade; his children; Diana McDade and David McDade; his siblings Karen (Joe) Starcher and Doug (Stephanie) McDade. Chris was a bartender for Red Lobster in Monroeville for 30+ years and was known as “Big Guy” while working.  He also was a huge Penguins and NHL Hockey fan. Family and friends will be received for a memorial visitation on Tuesday, September 12thfrom 4-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th Street (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday September 13th at 11 AM in the St. Regis Church, Trafford with Fr. George Saltrik as celebrant.
