Burrell Robert “Bob” Gibson age 71 of Jeannette (Hempfield Twp.) passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Bob was born on May 30, 1949 in Greensburg the son of the late Burrell R. and Marie (Betker) Gibson. In addition to his parents Bob was preceded in death by his first wife Patricia “Patty” (Casario) Gibson in 2004. Bob is survived by his current wife Kathy (Lantz) Gibson; his two sons Matthew R. Gibson of Bend OR and Travis M. Gibson of Indiana PA; his two step-daughters Heather Cunningham (Jake) and Alyson Keough (Chris) all of Greensburg; his five step-grandchildren Madison and Jase Cunningham, Irelyn, Delaney, and Seiler Keough; his sister Barbara Smith (Darrell) of Latrobe; his mother and father-in-law Bob and Wilma Lantz; several nieces and nephews; and his friends Dean, Howard and Rosie, the Friday Night Party on the Patio Family. Bob was retired from Penn Dot District 11 as the EEO Officer. He served in the US Army in Germany and was the Adjatant for the AMVETS Greensburg Post #88, a member of the Hecla Sportsman’s Club and Fox Hill Club, and he loved fishing and hunting.
