Victor Joseph Giacomin

Victor Joseph Giacomin, age 76 of N. Huntingdon died peacefully on Wednesday, December 13, 2017.  Victor was born June 5, 1941 in South Trafford the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Hall) Giacomin.  He spent five years in the U. S. Navy where he served in Vietnam and in Cuba during the Cuban missile crisis. He graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in accounting in 1973 and retired from Westinghouse. Victor was a talented stained glass craftsman with many of his windows and lamps in the homes of his family and friends. He was a wonderful, selfless father always putting his children first and a larger than life personality that kept everyone laughing.  Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Carol Stoughton Giacomin; son Mark Giacomin (Vicki); daughter Julie Wessner (Brad); four grandchildren Noah, Nicholas, Abigail and James; brothers Joe Giacomin (Rene), Chris Giacomin(Christine) and sister Diane Banis; along with many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received for a memorial visitation on Tuesday from 10AM until the time of a memorial service at 11AM in the John M.
