Thomas C. Gilmore

Thomas C. Gilmore age 81 of Trafford passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018.  Thomas was born on September 2, 1936 in East McKeesport the son of the late Harry and Jennet (Felgendreher) Gilmore. Thomas was a former fireman with the Level Green Volunteer Fire Dept., and he retired from US Steel after 32 years. He loved the outdoors and loved sharing that with his family even more. In addition to his parents Thomas preceded in death by his twin brother Robert Gilmore, his sisters Jean Fulmer and Marjorie Morrison, and his granddaughter Tiffany Gilmore Portser. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” Gilmore; his children, Sharon Gilmore, Carol (P.J.) Pizarro, Dianne (Brian) Duvall, and David (Melissa) Gilmore; his grandchildren Joe (Mary Rose) Gilmore, Autumn and Rivers Colbert, Nicole (Dominic) Smarra, Ken (Michelle) Pizarro, Allison Pizarro, Samantha, Benjamin, and Emma Duvall, Megan, and Matthew Gilmore, and Zackary Portser; his great-grandchildren Amira Duvall, Paige, Claire, and Gabriel Portser; his sister Loretta Rizzo;  his sister-in-law Rose Ann Gilmore as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6- 8 in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc. 702 7th St. (St. Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111. A Blessing service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday in the funeral home with Fr. David Nazimek officating.
