Shirley A. Gessinger

Shirley A. Gessinger age 82 entered Heaven Gates on Sunday, June 17, 2018.  She was born on June 16, 1936 in Connellsville, PA. Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald W. Gessinger, her sister Barbara Jean Waskiewicz and her parents Clarence and Beulah Eutsey. She loved going to the Steelers games, watching Terry Bradshaw, playing bingo and listening to Neil Diamond’s music. She worked as a Personal Care Assistant for Forbes Hospital for over 27 years before retiring. Shirley is lovingly remembered by her children Debra Ann Marts (Lloyd), and Ronald Wayne Gessinger (Lisa); grandsons Christopher, Josh (Sara), and Michael (Leanna) Marts, Alex and Connor Gessinger; great-grandchildren AJ, Kevin, and Jillian, and Stella; as well as five nephews. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 AM Saturday in the John M.
