Robert Thomas Volturno

Robert Thomas Volturno age 57 of Penn Twp. peacefully passed away on July 6, 2010. Robert was born on December 7, 1952 in Pittsburgh the son of the late Armond and Eleanor McCarthy Volturno. Robert was a member of the New Life Presbyterian Church, Ramaley Road in Harrison City, and enjoyed delivering gifts to needy children during the Christmas Season. He also enjoyed coaching girl's softball for many years. In addition to his parents Robert was preceded in death by a brother David Volturno, and his father-in-law Regis "Tubby" Kerrigan. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Darlene Kerrigan Volturno, his daughters Melanie Thompson and husband Chad of Philadelphia, April "Little Girl" Bechta and husband Dennis of Plymouth Meeting PA, his grandson Aven Thomas, Bechta, his sisters Donna Volturno, Nancy Speranza and husband Fran, his twin brother Wiliam Volturno and wife Luann, and sister Anita James and husband Darrell, his mother-in-law Anne Kerrigan and brothers-in-law James Kerrigan and wife Barbara and Regis Kerrigan and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St., (Rt. 130) Trafford, 412-372-3111. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday in the New Life Presbyterian Church, 326 Raymaley Road, Harrison City with Pastor Dennis Gill officiating.
