Naomi Broome Obituary

Naomi Ruth Broome of Trafford passed away peacefully on December 17, 2018 at West Haven Manor Personal Care, Apollo. Naomi was born on December 10, 1936 daughter of the late Elmer and Edna Shirley, one of eight children. Naomi was preceded in passing by her beloved daughter Debbie Macedone Phillips. She is survived by her brother Tim Shirley (wife Sally and family) of Florida; her granddaughter Hope Philabaum; her great grandchildren Savannah and Dalton Stafford; her great-great granddaughter Presley Shipley and many nieces and nephews. Naomi was one of the first female bus drivers for the Port Authority of Allegheny County retiring in February of 1999 after 26 years of dedicated service. Naomi will always be remembered for her commitment to helping friends and family. A special gratitude is extended to Kim Anker, the Swisshelm Family and West Haven Manor for Naomi’s care for two and half years. All services are private. The John M.
