My sympathy to all of the Mitch Adams family. I enjoyed working with Mitch for years with the Level Green Athletic Association and the Tri-Boro baseball league. I have many good memories.

Mitch coached my AAU team, Team adidas back in 2005-06 and was a joy to get to know personally.
He was great to my son Danny and all the players..he will be missed and I will always remember how he would address a player by saying, "Hey Buddy Boy".
RIP

I've had dozens of coaches in my lifetime, but only a handful stand out in my mind. Mitch is at the very top of that handful. He taught me discipline, work ethic and several other life lessons that have stayed with me all of these years. It will be an honor to pass down these principles to my own children. We will miss you, Mitch.

it has been so long since i had last seen Mitch but he was everything i loved about visiting all our family in Pittsburgh. He always had a smile and was willing to take the time to ask me about all the sports i was playing, how they were going and offering some instruction. He would tell me all the inside information on Pitt whom i still root for to this day- In Alabama! I can only imagine what a great coach he must have been to so many and certainly will be truly missed by all those he touched. I have a special place in my heart for Pittsburgh and it is mostly due to having met folks like Mitch.
