James Clifford Kline Jr.

James Clifford Kline Jr. age 72 of Adamsburg passed away Tuesday May 22, 2018 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital.  He was born on May 12, 1946 in Wilkinsburg the son of Julia Kline of Trafford and the late James C Kline Sr.  Jim was a member of the St. Mark Lutheran Church, New Stanton.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served as a helicopter gunner with the US Army.  He was a purchasing agent for Williams Co. before taking a job with Gongaware Bus Lines as a charter and school bus driver.  Jim later took a seasonal job with Brush Creek Cemetery as a caretaker.  Jim is survived by his wife Sue (Gongaware) Kline, daughter and son-in-law Kirsten and Jerry Smith, their children Ryan and Chesnee of New Stanton, Christopher and Mandy Kline and stepsons Tyler and Matthew of Virginia Beach and Courtney and Brian Williams and daughter Ellie of Ruffs Dale; he is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  Jim was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Karen and Richard Bostick.  The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, aids and patient care technicians on the 7th Floor of Shadyside Hospital and those at Arnold Palmer Cancer Center at North Huntingdon.  They went over and beyond to provide excellent care and support.  Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111. Additional visitation will be on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM in the St. Mark Lutheran Church, 126 West Pennsylvania Ave., New Stanton 15672 with Pastor Anne Woodman-Howe officiating.  Interment with military honors will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery, Hempfield Twp.   In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, New Stanton or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, River Walk Corporate Center, 333 E.
