Dushan Rebich

Dushan “Dan” Rebich age 89 of Trafford passed away on Thursday May 25, 2017.  Dushan was born on June 12, 1927 in Dubrave, Yugoslavia the son of the late Petar and Senija (Jakovich) Rebich.  Dushan graduated from Scott High School in North Braddock in 1945, he  served with the US Air Force during WWII and was a Past Commander of the Trafford American Legion Post 331.  He was a member of the St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church in Monroeville serving as President for 10 years, Vice-President 5 years and Treasurer for 25 years. Dushan retired as a mail carrier for the US Post Office in Trafford with over 30 years of service.  Dushan was preceded in death by his wife Tina (Krewasky) Rebich in 2014 and his brother Peter “Branko” Rebich.  He is survived by his sons Daniel Rebich (Laurie) of New Freedom PA and David Rebich (Ruthann) of Ashburn, Va; his grandchildren Alexander, Adam, Elizabeth and Peter Rebich; his brother-in-law Milos Krewasky and his life partner Josephine Gresko.  Family and friends will be received on Monday from 6-8 PM and Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111.  Funeral services will be at 11AM Wednesday in the St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Haymaker Rd., Monroeville with the Rev. Fr. George Veselinovic officiating.  Everyone please meet at the church.  Interment to follow with military honors in the Grandview Cemetery, N.
