Daniel Lenart

Daniel Lenart age 95 of Trafford died peacefully on August 6, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on July 6, 1922 in Trafford the son of the late Stanley and Mary Lenart.  He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline in 2014.  Daniel is survived by his four sons Daniel J. Lenart (Patricia) of Harrison City, Robert Lenart (Patricia) of South Fayette, James Lenart (Renee) of Monroeville and William Lenart of Erie; his eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; a brother Edward Lenart (Toni) of Brentwood and a sister Wanda Czapor (Edward) of Bloomfield Hills, MI.  Daniel was preceded in death also by his brothers Stanley, Joseph, Frank and a sister Jenny Kuharski.  Daniel worked at Westinghouse Electric in E. Pittsburgh for 42 years and retired as an Industrial Engineer.  He was a life-long member of St. Regis Church, Trafford and he served in serval ministries including the Holy Name Society, the Knights of Columbus and parish council.  The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of William Penn Care Center and Heartland Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (St. Route 130), Trafford (412) 372-3111.  Parting prayers will be at 9AM Thursday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 9:30AM in the St. Regis Church with Fr.
