Carolyn T. (Martino) Mignogna age 89, of Trafford , passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 10, 2018, after a long life dedicated to her family and her strong Catholic faith. Carolyn was born in Trafford on August 22, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Louis and Mamie Martino. Carolyn moved to Apple Valley, California in 2015 to spend time with her sister and her family. She enjoyed traveling, camping, cooking, and being surrounded by those she loved. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother and was soon to be a great grandmother of Baby Boy Snyder. She brought undeniable joy to all those who surrounded her. Her infectious smile was enough to light up a room, and her sense of humor and witty remarks brought laughter to any situation. However, it was her heart of pure gold that will be deeply missed and she will be forever remembered. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband William “Bill” Mignogna, and her loving son James “Jimmy” Mignogna; her brother and his wife, John (Helen) Martino. Carolyn is survived by her dear sister Philomena “Mena” (Dan) Campbell, her beloved grandchildren, Cara (Dan) Snyder, William “Billy” Mignogna, and mother of Cara and Billy Margaret “Marge” Mignogna. She will be sadly missed by her family both in California and Pennsylvania and all who knew her and loved her. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 1-3 and 5-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home, 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130) Trafford (412-372-3111). Parting prayers will be at 11:30 AM on Saturday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 12 Noon in the St. Regis Church with Fr. Thomas Dansak as celebrant. Interment will follow in the New St. Joseph Cemetery, N. Versailles. www.dobrinickfhinc.com
