Dear Betty and Family,
I was deeply saddened to learn of Mel's passing and I regret I was unable to offer my condolences in person. Please accept my sincere sympathy. May he rest in peace....May you and yours find comfort in all the wonderful memories you have of Mel. He touched so many people, often making their lives better. I will always remember the laughter and warmth from Mel and Betty as I was growing up; the love and hospitality and great musical entertainment as an adult. My heart is heavy but when someone can provide that kind of peace and joy, you know that Grace was ever-flowing thru him from our Lord to bless us all. I am grateful that I could experience this beauty. Much love to Betty, my cousins and family.
