Alvin T. Pieczynski

Alvin T. “Al” Pieczynski age 80 of Trafford passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 in the Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville.  Al was born on November 23, 1936 in Port Vue the son of the late Stephen and Bertha (Boczar) Pieczynski.  Al was a retired Sr. Research Engineer for Westinghouse Electric.  He was a member of the St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church in Monroeville and was a veteran of the Army Reserves.  He loved the outdoors, fishing and camping.  Al is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Anna (Jankovich) Pieczynski; his two sons Alvin T. Pieczynski Jr. (June) of Oxford MI and David Pieczynski (Beth) of Forsyth GA; his three grandchildren Jordan, Ali and Heath Pieczynski and his two sisters Carole D’Ascenzo (Rocco) of Riverdale GA and Maryann Dominik (Larry) of N. Huntingdon.  Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home, Inc. 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130) Trafford (412-372-3111).  Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 AM in the St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church with the Very Rev. Fr. George Veselinovic officiating.  Everyone please meet at the church.  Interment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery, N.
